Local appointment for Lutterworth funeral home

Lutterworth-born Karen Poole has been named as the new Funeral Director for Midlands Co-operative Funeral Service on George Street.
Karen, who has worked for Midlands Co-operative Society for five years said: “I am delighted to have been given the opportunity to oversee such a caring and friendly home. It is a privilege to work in Lutterworth and help families that I have grown up with over the years.”
Karen, who has a close circle of family and friends in the Lutterworth area, enjoys complementary therapy in her spare time. Formally a Funeral Administrator, Karen has been conducting funeral services for the past 18 months.
She is currently studying for the Foundation Certificate in Funeral Service. Her mentor, Jean Cooksley commented: “I am very pleased for Karen, she is a very considerate and compassionate person who enjoys working with people. I wish her every success in her new role.”
