Midlands Co-op Funeral Services has replenished a number of its fleet by investing over £600,000 in new vehicles.
Comprising of Volvo hearses and limousines, the vehicles are destined for use by their Funeral Homes across Leicester, Derby and Birmingham. Midlands Co-op Funeral Service has also taken the decision to replace its transfer ambulances with Renault Grand Espace vehicles, which have been adapted specifically for this use. The purpose built ambulances are quiet, fuel efficient vehicles which provide a suitably dignified mode of transport.
Commenting on this significant investment, Paul Webb, General Manager, Midlands Co-op Funeral Service said: “In providing the very highest levels of care, it is of paramount importance that we have a reliable fleet of vehicles that reflects the high standard of service we offer. Our new, top quality vehicles are equipped to a very high specification and provide a dignified journey for loved ones. We have had very positive feedback from the individuals who have seen our latest purchases and it is our intention to introduce more of these vehicles into our fleet in the near future.”
